Ty and Gwen are on opposing sides。 The sudden death of his business partner Finds them together on an adventure that will change their lives。 There are sparks from the get-go， but not necessarily good ones。 It was fun watching these two grow as people as they figure out what’s really important。

The space between us was so good！！！ True to form Melanie had me laughing right from the beginning and I absolutely devoured this book。 As a woman in STEM/ Engineering， I love female scientist representation in books and this was such a unique field to represent。 The banter was witty， sexy and sometimes cheesy but I ate it up。 A funny combo of enemies to lovers but also sort of insta-love or insta-crush that didn’t bother me， Ty and Gwyn were surprisingly deep characters with deep emotional journ The space between us was so good！！！ True to form Melanie had me laughing right from the beginning and I absolutely devoured this book。 As a woman in STEM/ Engineering， I love female scientist representation in books and this was such a unique field to represent。 The banter was witty， sexy and sometimes cheesy but I ate it up。 A funny combo of enemies to lovers but also sort of insta-love or insta-crush that didn’t bother me， Ty and Gwyn were surprisingly deep characters with deep emotional journeys in the book and I loved learning more about Dr。 Napper and his beautiful outlook on life。 Honestly there were so many parts of the book that I highlighted and marked as a favourite and I’ll definitely be re-reading this lighthearted romcom again！ 。。。more

Such a fun read！！！ Melanie Summers turned up the heat with Gwen and Ty’s characters and I’m here for it all！！！ I especially loved Gwen who doesn’t give up on what she believes in！ Oh and Ty…that man hides a hidden marshmallow heart and it’ll most definitely hit you in the feels！ The chemistry between these two is off the charts！Five stars and so much more！！！ Brilliant writing！

*Thank you to Melanie Summers for providing me with an ARC for this story。 All opinions are my own。4⭐️/ 2🌶️If you love to read about a woman working in a scientific， S。T。E。M。 type of field， with a somewhat grumpy billionaire， an unexpected adventure in Peru， and a dislike to love romance between two individuals， then you’re going to want to read， “The Space Between Us” By: Melanie Summers。 This story followed， Gwen Fox and Ty Sterling as they found themselves in the jungles of Peru for a specifi *Thank you to Melanie Summers for providing me with an ARC for this story。 All opinions are my own。4⭐️/ 2🌶️If you love to read about a woman working in a scientific， S。T。E。M。 type of field， with a somewhat grumpy billionaire， an unexpected adventure in Peru， and a dislike to love romance between two individuals， then you’re going to want to read， “The Space Between Us” By: Melanie Summers。 This story followed， Gwen Fox and Ty Sterling as they found themselves in the jungles of Peru for a specific reason， and in the midst of it all Gwen had a plan to ensure Ty kept the funding for the research group she was part of。 Ty had plans of his own in order to get through the whole ordeal he found himself in， but even with everything on his plate， he and Gwen found themselves slowly but surely developing a connection。If I had to describe this book I would compare it to along the lines of an Ali Hazelwood book。 If you’re a fan of Ali Hazelwood and how she writes contemporary romances set within the S。T。E。M。 world/ profession of a type of science， then I think you would like this story。 Within the first few chapters， I liked the characters， there was that lighthearted humor that made it enjoyable to read， and grasp the personalities of the characters。 The storyline was unique， and provided an interesting turn into how Gwen and Ty would meet。 There was also a trope I always love reading about which is， the main lead being a billionaire。 Ty was filthy rich and did what he wanted with his money， but there was also an ulterior motive behind how he wanted to use his money for a specific reason which is revealed in the book。 Gwen was more focused on trying to secure her research group’s future by trying to…shall we say get on Ty’s nice side in order to get the funding they needed to continue their work。 Gwen wasn’t Ty’s biggest fan， or I should say she hated Ty a lot which made it a bit more difficult when she needed to be nice in order to convince Ty the work she and her team were doing was important and not unnecessary as Ty had always thought。 There was a good mix of tropes， plot， and likable characters that made this book fun to read。 Funny how two people who initially didn’t like one another suddenly found themselves thinking about each other differently as was the case with Gwen and Ty。 As much as Gwen was initially team， “I hate Ty Sterling”， I could see her walls coming down around him， and dare I say even ENJOY hanging out with him？！ Even Ty， Mr。 Billionaire himself was changing his perception of Gwen and imagining some nsfw stuff about her！ The chemistry between Gwen and Ty grew stronger as the story progressed and they actually complimented each other perfectly。 For Gwen， she always imagined finding someone who would challenge her and just like she said， “it wouldn’t love at first sight， it would love at first argument”。 Gwen didn’t want an easy love， she wanted someone who would push her。 Once Ty amassed his wealth， he was use to people wanting things from him， and while Gwen was determined to secure the funds for her research group， she wasn’t one to suck him up to him， Gwen was straightforward and easy to be around Ty。 This was a cute， lighthearted， funny story with an underlying theme of acceptance and family。 I liked how over the course of the story， Gwen came to the realization that just like the other researchers working in different fields of studies shared the same hope as her in wanting to continue their work。 Gwen initially believed that she and her group were far more superior than the others， but that wasn’t the case at all。 Gwen had good character growth and learned a lot more about herself which later helped her become a better person and change her perception about herself too。 Ty also had his own hurdles to overcome from moving past the hurt his father caused his family to opening himself up， and learning to trust others as he did with Gwen。 Gwen and Ty had different views when it came to what they believed in， but over the course of the story they found a common ground and deep understanding of one another。 The romance was sweet， and light with sprinkles of spice。 I like reading about women in S。T。E。M。 it’s also fascinated me， and to see a bit of Gwen in her field was cool especially with the type of work she specialized in。 As a whole， it was a good book， straightforward plot， good characters， easy to get lost in， and entertaining。 。。。more

I know it says 3 stars but honestly， 3。5 for the banter alone。 This book was a fun time！ Admittedly， I kinda skimmed the synopsis before requesting so I thought this would have more spacey stuff involved， but I was pleasantly surprised！ The FMC and MMC have good reason to hate each other but the chemistry is off the charts。 I loved their tension with each other and it had a great payoff。 Had some sweet and not so sweet family dynamics and a happy ending。 As much as a contemporary romance can be I know it says 3 stars but honestly， 3。5 for the banter alone。 This book was a fun time！ Admittedly， I kinda skimmed the synopsis before requesting so I thought this would have more spacey stuff involved， but I was pleasantly surprised！ The FMC and MMC have good reason to hate each other but the chemistry is off the charts。 I loved their tension with each other and it had a great payoff。 Had some sweet and not so sweet family dynamics and a happy ending。 As much as a contemporary romance can be enemies to lovers， this book nails it。 These characters REALLY don’t like each other at first， none of that “enemies to lovers means annoying person at workplace” stuff。 Gwen is a researcher at an institution that involves finding alien life and Ty is a cynical billionaire who has openly voiced his disdain for their project and others like it。 After the untimely death of the co founder of the foundation Ty built to sustain these otherworldly enterprises， Gwen and Ty and other folks connected to the co founders life embark on a hike across Peru as his final wish。 Along the way， Gwen must attempt to get the funding her institute needs and Ty is unwilling to part with as he wants to use it to get back at his absent father。 Shenanigans ensue！！ Some of the humor fell flat for me but that’s just a personal thing。 I get the characters are supposed to be late 30s/early 40s but sometimes it didn’t feel like they talked that way。 Like I would rather these characters outright swear rather than say “blerg” or “butts”。 Overall， this book was short， sweet， and somewhat spicy。 All you can ask for with a romcom。Thank you NetGalley for supplying the e-ARC in exchange for an honest review！ 。。。more

This book is fun and funny while also being deeply emotional and thought-provoking。 I loved Gwen and Ty。 I wanted to bundle them up， cuddle them close and hug the ever-loving daylights out of them。 I adored seeing the journey of enlightenment Richard sent them on， and appreciated even more the insights they came out of it with。 There’s something so real and grounded about these characters that makes me wish I knew them in real life。 I feel like I want them to be my dear friends。 I can’t wait to This book is fun and funny while also being deeply emotional and thought-provoking。 I loved Gwen and Ty。 I wanted to bundle them up， cuddle them close and hug the ever-loving daylights out of them。 I adored seeing the journey of enlightenment Richard sent them on， and appreciated even more the insights they came out of it with。 There’s something so real and grounded about these characters that makes me wish I knew them in real life。 I feel like I want them to be my dear friends。 I can’t wait to see where the author is going to take this series next。I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout。 。。。more

Ty and Gwen are the engaging couple off the pages in this book。 I just loved this story！！ This is one of the most original， invigorating， interesting， and inspiring books I’ve read。 As a new author， for me Melanie Summers has a new fan。 The storylines， characters， plot， pace， along with the unexpected depth made this book irresponsible。 This is a must read book。 This HiddenGems ARC is an amazing book。 This review includes my thoughts and feelings about this book。
